Stillman Kelley Competition

Application Process:

Fill out the NFMC Stillman Kelley entry form and provide the Stillman Kelley Audition Chairman with:

  • Proof of US Citizenship (must be an American citizen)

  • Application
  • Payment of entry fee $45.00 for CFMC members/$60.00 for non-members (This includes a junior individual membership fee.)
  • 3 DVD’s of your performance
  • A personal photo for PR use

 

Preparation Procedure:

  1. Prepare your program for a DVD recording.
  2. Remember an American (USA) composer as part of your program.
  3. Must be no more than 20 minutes long.
  4. Complete your application. Include a personal photo and proof of US Citizenship.
  5. Include 3 copies of your DVD with your application.
  6. Mail your packet to:  Jodie Jensen, 5475 Flag Way, Colorado Springs, CO 80919.

Include an envelope with postage included for return of DVD’s if you are not the Colorado Representative. DVD’s will not be returned if you do not include an envelope and postage. 

 

Audition Procedure:

  1. We must receive your DVD by the entry date. No live auditions.
  2. Judges are sent a copy of your DVD for the audition.
  3. Each judge makes a determination of who will be the Colorado representative to the Western Region and to the National Stillman Kelley Competition.
  4. Announcement of the winner will be sent via e-mail.
  5. A cash award of $300.00 will be given to the winner of the Colorado Audition.
